A series of walks in the Woodbridge, Rivertown, Cass Corridor and Heidelberg neighborhoods that ask
participants to observe, photograph, draw, write, videotape, share stories and create personal maps of different neighborhoods. Includes an introduction to Global Positioning Systems technology. In collaboration with the University of Michigan Map Library.
all walks are on Saturdays, 1:30-4:30 pm - rain, snow or shine

If you have a digital still or video camera or recording device, you're welcome to bring them along - but you can also just bring yourself. We'll be recording details from the walks to include in a new project that will allow people to access and remix the information we gather from these walks both on the web and through installations in public spaces.
